About Nakskov Fjord Nature Park
Nakskov Fjord Nature Park is part of the Danish Nature Parks. Locally, the nature park is anchored in Lolland Municipality, which has a user council that advises the municipality. The user council consists of a number of associations, organisations and companies, all of which have an interest in Nakskov Fjord.
User Council Nakskov Fjord
Back in 1997, a board and a representative council were established for Nakskov Fjord. One of the first goals was to create a high level of communication by hiring a nature guide. The goal was achieved, and in 2008 the municipality of Lolland took the initiative to change this structure into a user council for the Nakskov Fjord Nature Park. The user council is a cooperation forum for landowners, private companies, associations, organisations and public authorities with an interest in the nature, tourism, outdoor life, cultural environment and history of Nakskov Fjord.
